There are thousands official appellations worldwide and new appellations are added every year. CellarInfo includes hundreds of appellations. The more obscure appellations have been marked inactive in order to limit the number of appellations that are listed when the Appellations drop down box on the Wine form is clicked. Use this form to enter new appellations or edit information about the default appellations.

Assigning appellations to the wines in your cellar allows you to filter and sort various reports by appellation. For example, you can print a report showing all French wines or all wines from Napa Valley.
